I participated in the 5th edition of the BYT program during my last year of graduation. When I applied for the program to use the BYT internship as a theme for my curricular internship, I want it to be a more enriching experience than simply doing an internship associated with one of the teachers in my course, and I was not disappointed. I consider that participate in BYT 2018/2019 was an importante experience as I was able to work with experienced researchers associated with a renowned research institute like CIIMAR. Also I had the opportunity to participate in visits and training activities offered by BYT, such as the visit to ALGA Plus or the BOGA training. In conclusion, I consider that my participation in the BYT program empowered me with important skills and real-time experience of working in science.
