I participated in the 5th edition of the BYT program, where I developed the theme “Effects of sediment on mussel attributes and its fauna associated”. It was an enriching experience that allowed me contact with projects related to scientific research for the first time. During my participation in BYT I had the possibility to work with a team of researchers who shared their knowledge with me and were always available to help me, thus becoming a strength in my academic career. I still had opportunity to participate in several activities in which I was able to know about different areas, listen to the different paths and experiences from other researchers.
