Participate in the BYT program, as part of the group LANUCE-CIIMAR was an enriching experience, specially the knowleadge sharing I obtained from my supervisor Professor Luísa Valente and my co-supervisor, Ana Basto. Leaving the classroom and entering a lab allowed me to be in touch with a new reality, learn new techniques and gain work experience. The internship in the area of animal nutrition fulfilled my expectations, allowing me to apply the academic knowledge in the laboratory context.
