Entering the BYT project was undoubtedly an asset to my future. My internship was done in the area of ​​microbiology, an area that I always had great interest in. It was a very enriching experience not only regarding the internship itself, but also because of the proposed activities inserted in the BYT project, which made me contact with new areas. It helped me to develop teamwork skills as well as the responsibility to work on an individual level, so that several fears were overcome. Since I felt strongly integrated and everyone was always ready to help me, I strongly advise students to be part of the CIIMAR team if they have the opportunity and are interested in research.
